Another foody post Smile

Paige has mostly been a pretty good eater, never a baby who ate and ate and tried everything offered but also not a fussyeater either (i was a terribly fussyeater as a child and feel sory for what my mum went through with me Sad)

However, last 2 months things have slowly changed to the situation we have found ourselves in now. She will eat the "nice" part of her meal, usually the meat Rolling Eyes then we get a battle for her to eat any of the rest. Some days she is better than others and she makes an effort but some days she point blank refuses and gets really upset.

Any advice on things to try? We have tried the "ignoring" trick and that worked to start with, we would finiksh our meal then leave her to eat/scream while we washed up etc, we tried tempting her with "yummy" carrots lol, we tried reasoning with her (not easy ), we are currently tring cutting down on snacks so by mealtimes she should be more than ready to eat but not sure if any of what we are doing is for the best???

Any ideas/advice at all appreciated, does anyone think we should stick with one of the things we have already tried? Have to add she has lunch 4 times a week at nursery and even they have noticed she is beginning to eat less there too Sad

Thanks ladies Smile

have you had a look on the supernanny website? i am lucky that elijah will try most things, but i think we still have the grace of novelty at the moment! i remember a few good supernanny programmes that dealt with different food issues so definitely worth a look
