One of my oh's staff members asked for yesterday off because his daughter had been complaining of back pain they took her to docs and he wanted her to go for a scan cos he believes she is pregnant.

well she went upto hosp and guess what, not only is she pregnant she is in labour =o|
They have absoloutly nothing ready and its a complete shock to them all!

its over, she's had a little girl, au natural and all is fine so it seems!
Gna give her a load of blankets n a changing mat n a few bits but im sure her family will help out a lot!
Luckily she isnt in a bad situation really, she's in her 20's has a long term partner n stuff so im sure it will all work out in the end

it would be my worst nightmare lol...

i dont actually know her, her dad is one of my oh's caretakers but he's really lovely and we always end up chatting and he always gets our car fixed cheap for us cos his son works at a garage lol

I thought you were gona say she was 16 and had been hiding it! Im always gobsmacked how people dont know the whole way through. What about sickness, heartburn, the kicks, pressure down below for last few weeks??? Also how do you not notice a bump???

Oh well at least she has family who love and are supporting her. Prob the best thing going through pg and not knowing (well if you eat properly and dont drink/smoke) saved all the stress!

what a surprise, i couldnt imagine not knowing your pg, i know it happens, but all the kicking etc, not sure if its a blessing not knowing or you missing out on those lovely moments.

im the same snoops no idea how you can not know, but she lives with her mum and dad and brothers n that so its not possible to hide a bump or the sickness if it was there lol... she has had tummy pains and back aches etc but had no idea what they were.

i think its nice in some ways but it would cost a bomb to go out and buy all the stuff, pram, cot, moses basket bottles formula etc and you havent really got time to shop about either! x

Lucky the father took the action to take her..... can you imagine if he hadn't bothered and she just gave birth
You must go into shock after its all over.....

Omg what a surprise! would be a birthday of a head mess too as she hadn't got the 9 months to get used to the fact she will have a baby. but mega wow!=-O

Wow. Well obv she carried well bar the odd niggle she could pass off as something else. Glad they are both well and hopefully she will get used to it quick and it wont bite her on the butt in a few weeks when it all sinks in. Otherwise how nice for her.
