when you went to haggerston castle was it with haven? i am looking at last minute things for the beginning of sept and that place came up - what did you reckon to it? was there much to do? the last minute price is pretty good but i would want to know what other peoples experiences were!

sorry for hijacking but we went too last year, tbh there's not too much to do , there's a nice pool and lake with boats but we steered clear of all the entertainment side, on a plus side there's Berwick , Spittle and Holy Island nearby which are nice to visit.

well im just thinking like beaches and stuff, i have been to the area a few times and i suppose eli is just as entertained anywhere - we are a lot more into outdoors so dont think we would bother with any of the entertainment really

when we went we loved it. always found summat to do. theres loads of places to go round about berwick, holy island etc and theres quite a bit to do for the kids. i would deffo go back! but i would have to have a heated caravan because it was bloody freezing!!

oooh aren't they all heated? i never thought of that interesting point!!! i might just see how the pennies look at the end of aug and see what offers they have on, they have 4 nights for 170 in sept at the moment so thats not bad after petrol

book through breakfree holidays using the daily mail promotion, it'll work out loads cheaper even if you upgrade to a luxury caravan, not valid in august though x
