| Why is it no matter how many things I move Jamie manages to find something else he shouldn't be playing with? Beginning to think I'm never going to manage to move everything. |

| Lol, you wont!
Aimee finally stopped playing with the stones in our fire about 3 months ago, and now Lily has started crawling, and they seem to be her favourite passtime. It drives me nuts!

| We gave up in the end! Well all our ornaments are now on fireplace behind the guard or on the mantle piece. Lamps we found she still lunged for mind and couldnt move them. Remotes too become prizes to them, as do mobile phones and a purse/handbag left for a min.
We did have a fridge lock on but it fooled her for 1 day and the just took it off casual as anything grabbed her berries and sauntered off.
You just need to watch them like a hawk and do the best you can to protect them from the big dangers eg fireguards/stairgates etc. As frustrating as it is they do calm down and stop climbing/grabbing everything eventually, when they about 2 lol The only prob is they move on to drawing on things, ruining your make up, flooding things, eating entire packets of biscuits in the space of 5 min..... |

| well.........um my advice is to accept you will never win!!! we seem to keep babyproofing and yet elijah just finds something even more dangerous to play with (generally flying face-first off/into/through things just now) |

| Well his now realised he can pull himself to standing on the coffee table rather than just me so I can see many trips to a&e coming! I accepted I'm just going to have to watch him. Its just when I go to the loo or something like that and I come back and find him into something he shouldn't be. Guess I'm going to get many grey hairs |

| you just take him to the loo with you, that is, until he chases you to the loo - the only problem is when you are on the loo and he runs off and goes very quiet and/or laughs hahaha it's worth investing in a travel cot if you have space though, that makes things easier for a little bit til they protest too much we got a babyproofing kit from tesco for about £8 that had loads of things which we have used most of a stairgate is a good idea too so you can 'trap' them in one safeish place |

| We don't really have space for a travel cot or I'd steal mum's. Fortunately at the moment we only need to babyproof the lounge as we can just shut the doors to the other rooms |

| hmmmmm eli is up on the couches, up the bookshelf so we have moved all the books up, sideboards cleared, hes into the t.v/computer/cables, plugs and sockets, switching them on and off, sticking things into them, opening and closing doors, grabbing cups of tea/food, pulls the oven open and plays with the ignition, switches the washing machine on at the wall and shuts the door so he can press the buttons ummmmm plays with the hoover, puts things in bins/toilet/bath/sink, plays with the cat food, moves clothes from the airer/moves the airer 'posts' things anywhere he can, opens cupboards and just generally terrorises the house it's nice to have an inquisitive child!!! |

| LOL Jamie seems to be going the same way. No matter how many times we hide the wires he seems to find them and loves to pull everything off the coffee table and sofa (where we dumped the things we didn't want him to have). Fortunately he can't reach much yet |

| benjamin has been told no since he started touching things he shouldn't, so as soon as i see him go towards something i go ahah nooo and he turns around, cries in a moody way and wonders off to something else hard work, but saves something getting broken (stuff or him!!) we've just got some stair gates, as he has discovered the stairs |

| lol i loved my flat it was that small i didnt have much anyway for him to hurt himself on and when we moved he was 4 so out of that stage,
i can see with lucas its going to be more difficult especially as our tv unit is open and is very inviting with all the wires.
we have a while before we need to worry but we discussed fire guard other day, and we dont use the fire so we said no, btu we have stones and can see me having to put them back all the time and the cats like to lick them, so should be fun lol |

| We dont use our fire either but decided the guard was a good idea as the hearth is conrete with sharp corners so not the best for a wobbler to fall on. Is also handy for putting ornaments behind! |
