| lucas is too long for his baby bath, hes all scruched up in it, although he can sit up on the rest, i dont like doing that because if he slips he is going to have a sore bottom. he never stays still and i need to look for something else.
at the moment, he is coming in the bath with me or russ, but this is not practical as we need both of us there, althoguh i did do this with rich, but think he must have been a bit older,
anyway i've looked at aqua pods on mothercare, i know hes too young really at moment, because he cant sit on his own,
i had a bath seat for rich and he loved it, but i like the look of the aqua pod
so what do you ladies use, any recommendations
thanks for reading x |

| I don't know anything about them but could you not just lay him in the normal bath. That's what we did with Jamie until he could sit alone (and he still likes to lay and splash). We just filled it so it came to about his ears laying down and let him kick away |

| Sounds like Jamie. Don't worry - we didn't think of it either. It was only because my sister did it. Before that we were trying to hold him so he was sitting up in our bath which wasn't easy |

| we had this for elijah http://www.summerinfant.co.uk/categories_products_view.php?id=63 it was great until he could sit up - it is a sort of mesh so he would sit quite deeply in it but water would just run through it if that makes sense?! other than that one of us would just sit in the bath with him.......these days elijah has decided he loves his flexi-bath but that was pretty much hopeless until he could sit up |

| We just filled the water about 2-3 inches deep and put them in the whole bath. They have both always loved it as they get loads of room to splash x |

| We only used the baby bath for about 2 months. We then had a plastic bath seat a bit like this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Babyway-BNBS-Newborn-Bath-Seat/dp/B002HGU74O/ref=sr_1_7?s=baby&ie=UTF8&qid=1312996852&sr=1-7
which we found totally crap! I think she was freezing in it and just supported her while I sponged her down. think we used it twice.
We just did what others said and put her in big bath. I leaned over the side and cradled her in the crook of my arm. I didnt even bother with a bath seat at 6 months (well 8/9 mths as Caitlin was late to sit) as we were so used to her just being in the bath with nothing. |

What???? Is Ellie really well behaved?! Caitlin has been standing in the big bath from about 14 months and would run the length of it kicking. There is no way she would have put up with the tiny bath, she'd have been out and trying to empty it/turn the taps on! |

Snoops, Ellie is far from well behaved, but, she loves her bath and really enjoys sitting in the water and playing. We started to put her in the big bath because she literally stopped fitting in the baby bath. Our family bath is huge and oh is tight so he always moaned about how much it costs to heat the water to fill it (me and other daughter have baths every night too)! |

| well he was in with russ tonight and this morning i had to hold him under the shower after a rather dirty nappy and we needed to go out early..
we going to try the big bath, i had a bath seat for rich and will probably get one of them as i can see he is going to love teh water, but he never keeps still.
as for the baby bath will keep that till hes sitting and he can use it as water play, then might fill it with sand for a sand pit ( i did it with rich's and he loved it)
unless of course we need it for another more cuter reason lol |

| Hey ladies, We've used the big bath for Verity since day 1. She LOVES it and tries to swim from one side to the other it's hilarious! She also enjoys lying on her back or tummy...I guess Verity just loves the bath full stop. x |
