yesterday after avas nap , her eye was weeping and very bloodshot, we took her to out of hours last night as she could hardly open it and they gave us some drops. This morning her eye is perfectly normal with no sign of infection, should I continue with the drops or not bother?

not sure, but it could be the drops are clearing it, but the infection is still and if you stop then it might come back,
i would give her some for today and see how she is tomorrow, just to be sure

I would carry them on hun. Hannah had a bad case of conjunctivitis when she was teeny and she had drops (night mare to get in ) and it was always worse later in the day. I gave her the whole course of drops even though it looked to have cleared up and when they ran out it came back so she had to have another round of drops.

I'm not sure it even was an infection,it came out of the blue so I think she might have scratched her eye when she was tired, they said to use them for 5 days, I might just use them for today and see what tomorrow brings.

Hiya Jo, We advise that when an eye looks completely clear to carry on with drops for a further 48hrs as often the front of the eye clears much quicker than behind, as there is a lot more skin & vessels etc at the back of the eye.
