lost his job tonight. his work closed down

but am trying to keep my chin up about it as a friend from school had twin boys tonight and one of them died

Awwww..no hun! So sorry to hear both of these horrible losses. OH will probably find a better job right away, and can't even begin to imagine what your dear friend is going through tonight. My thoughts are with you guys! xxx

Im trying not to be so down about our news as we will get back on our feet again. heard that news and realised how lucky we actually are!

You are a very strong person...for keeping it together for your OH and seeing the fortunate things in your life, even when crap happens. World needs more people like yourself hun. xxx

so sorry to hear about you OH's job it must be very stressfull, i know what has happened to your friend is a terrible thing and bound to put things into perspective, however you are allowed to be worried and upset about it as it is a life changing thing that has happened to you too. A friend of mine from school died on holiday last night, he was only 25. he has a hole in his heart and died walking back to his villa with his wife.

Ditto'ed - life's too short and the job loss is awful but good on you for putting it in perspective - I try to do the same with minor niggles and annoyances - but you've just reminded me to try and do so even more xx

hes doing ok hes applied for loads of jobs today so fingers crossed. we have three weeks wages due so he has all that time before we even have to start worrying and I spend sooo much money on things we dont need so wont do that obviously. he was very unhappy in his job and we were having constant arguments about it and last night he apologised for complaining so much as he didnt realise how much he depended on his job. so Im just trying to think that everything happens for a reason

Your right about puting things ino perspective, since I lost Ollie it's like nothing trivial really matters anymore, I've got through the worst thing possible so life can chuck anything it wants at me! Consequently I'm feeling alot less stressed these days x

Such a shame about your friend, hard to deal with the joy of one and the emotion of losing another, I imagine it would make them feel quite guilty to enjoy the one, even if thats silly!
