Basically Bank of America want to sell the European side of the business that I work for. So very uncertain times ahead for us all. 4000 people employed at the Chester HQ alone so you can imagine what that will do to the area if we all loose our jobs

How odd, their reasons for selling?!

Their reason for selling is a fluffing statement I think. I think it's because they don't have enough capital so are selling anything they consider to be risky and away from their core business so that they can improve their balance sheet with massive drop to their share prices.
