i know i have called her a gypsy but in all fairness she called herself one

do you buy or not ?, from a young age i remember family saying you always buy from a gypsy at your door so yes i bought something

No never had them...and I'm not superstitious so would only buy if I liked it!

ohh i remember they used to come round selling pegs and heather (although im sure they sold other things but i dont remember what!) i probably would cos some of those old ladies are well spooky

she was selling hairbrushes , earrings , necklaces, brooches ( that does not look right spelling ? )
i took a turquiose rope necklace with a huge lovely pendant on it

I haven't had any whilst we've lived here, but used to get them when we lived up in Yorkshire selling nailbrushes and paper flowers etc.

Would always buy something though as i'd be scared they would curse me LOL!! xx
