| I am so wary of portraits as it's so rare that the likeness is actually captured. I have to say I'd be trying to talk him out of it and into getting something that represented her instead x |

| Adam wants one of Amelia and I'm trying to talk him out of it. I think its very rare to get a true likeness. He wanted to get one of Ollie I totally put my foot down and said no though x |

| i think you should convince him to spend an hour looking through the ugliest tattoo archives so he knows exactly what might happen. (i just reminded myself and have been looking for ages now ) |

| Personally I think they're foul, I've never seen one that's made me go "ooh that's nice".
But that's just me.
You did ask! |

| Wow that guys work is amazing! I love the roses and the cupcake too, never seen them look for vivid and life like!!! Still I'd be wary of him not capturing that specific twinkle that makes Ava, Ava x |

| My tattooist hates doing them, says hes not convinced of the ability of them to hold their longeivity as tats bleed over time naturally anyway and portraits dont have the strong lines of traditional inkwork to hold them together well. Id say even if he did an amazing job now in ten years it might look like shit. Id personally never have one done, I prefer my tats I have for people to be symbolic. Ive got a grizzly bear, an angelfish, a chicken and a jellyfish for my family so far with some plan for some more bits later. Went off topic there but just a though to bear in mind that portraiture is a new medium and the long term ramifications of the work havent really been seen yet |

| Me and the oh have both considered portraits, dan wont have one til they are 4-5 or older as he says its easier to capture the likeness and its more likely they will completely have developed their features more so etc.. however the only way we would consider it is if it was an artist who we had proper researched, seen potrait examples with both the start pic and the finished tattoo etc and it costs a fotune when you found these things so i dont know tbh! Even an amazing artist can get portraits wrong... x |

| i have just looked at the gallery and that guy clearly has amazing talent, shame he has only the pic of the tattoo and not the picture he was originally shown to create it with and then you could tell more! x |

| I would say and so does Perry looking at his work.(he does tattoos) that he would be safe getting object from that guy. hut as mario has already said. tattoos bleed afywr a while. so i would be very careful with that. plus if it is a colour one it could does Alot of colour in the long run. x |

| Honestly - I hate them. I kind of think thats what photo's or picture mugs and the like are for. Even engraving an image on glass... just not your body. I dont have any tattoo's so maybe my opinion is swayed a bit and I just dong 'get' inking yourself with images. Mario raises really good points about how the will look over time. Id love to pluck up the courage to get Caitlin and this babys name tattooed on me. Im just so indecisive about what style to get and where that Iv never got round to it. Names and symbols I like, not portraits. Is he looking like he still going to go ahead with it? |

| he is an amazing artist, he still wants it done but its costing £400 and its not even that big. I would try and talk him out of it but he's very stubborn!
Mario we call Ava out little pickle so that would make an interesting tattoo! |
