Have taken the plunge........

We started potty training Bethany on Thursday and so far so good.

She seemed to take a step backwards yesterday and I thought I would end up putting nappies back on her today but today has actually been her best day, she has used the potty 7 times and only one accident (too distracted playing), she is telling us when she needs to go and then will go and take her leggings and knickers off (have been telling her she only needs to pull them down but we can work on that!!) and then doing her business.

The real test will be tomorrow when she is back in nursery although I'm hoping this will make her even more confident.

Izzy is the same - she has to take everything off! I keep trying to make her just pull them down...but off they come!

I still put a pull up on - town is rubbish for loos!

Well done Bethany!We are at the end of our first week and think we have cracked it (fingers crossed!). she has been to nursery and was fine so hope Bethany is too. We have not put on pull ups at all(except at night) as I want to be consistent, I bought one of these and its great, it has been used several times already, in the park etc so we do not have to panic about finding a loo. I would really recommend it.

Thats what I need kate! Its a right pain in town as there are only 2 sets of public loos - I wouldnt go anywhere near the one set (yyyuukkk!) and the other one is quite far from most places - luckily Im not usually out long enough for her to need to go ....but its sod law it will happen!
