Awens always been a bit of a solemn thoughtful lil monkey, she will smile a lot and squeal when shes excited but she hardly ever laughs. so no idea whats gotten into her in the last few days but shes so animated. shes been giggling her little arse off at me pretending to bite her tummy today and shes finally worked her jumperoo out and is going nuts in it, bouncing and growling and shrieking with laughter

Im not sure if her reflux has finally improved to the point she can feel happier or what but its so fab to have such a happy bubba and wanted to share

Aw gotta love the post baby hormones chuck.

But no i felt a bit emo about it earlier i think it hit me how bad she must have felt for months with the reflux if this happy little girl is the baby she is meant to be after months of hour long screaming and not being able to out her down without knowing Id have my eardrums shattered from the screeching and her little serious face when I clowned around for her trying to make her laugh and it happened really rarely. Makes me think how nasty reflux really is.

I dont think its entirely the BLW curing the reflux though I think thats most of it but if this makes sense I think as well as reflux pain she hated being a newborn. Does that make any sense at all? She seems to delight in the control shes got over her hands now and being able to flip herself over and wriggle about and grab me and kiss me like she does. I think she hated being helpless too and add that to her poor tummy no wonder she was hard work. Im not sure its forever or all the time but to feel like we turned a corner is so amazing.

Ahhh made me well up a bit too, I've not been around much so didn't realise she had reflux. Joseph was the same, some days I use to cry with him wondering when it was going to get easier, and then over a week he just got happier and happier and even my friend who looks after them said the other day what a happy smiliy boy he was. 4 months ago I would never of imagined it!!! He still has off days but that's teething and frustration now. Really hope it's the turning point for her. Xxxx

Ah that's good to hear. Isla was similar, it felt like all she did was cry for the first few months, so almost like her personality lay dormant for a while.

I'm sure now she has started to become happier, it will just get better and better x x x x
