I'm so embarrassed

Since having so many bad fights lately and thinking of coming home, my oh has being trying so hard, and has calmed down alot and really trying to be lovely to me. He's helping out at home, helping out with Milo when i'm working and generally doing his best to take care of me. However, I am a moron.

He works in a music shop, selling musical instruments. The shop also provides piano/sax/guitar etc lessons and instructors come in to do those. The sax instructor lives close by so she's sometimes given him a lift if they're doing an outside event etc. She mid 20s and i've never met her, but in my head she's gorgeous. Anyway, I was telling my oh he has sexy lips, could i steal them? and he suddenly said "Oh, the sax instructor said my lips were perect for playing the sax!" and looked all proud of himself.

I immediately flipped out, thinking - argh! she's after my man!! she's trying to come onto him, and i got this image of them practising the sax together, she compliments his lips, they start kissing.. (because, yes, i am an idiot) What makes me even more of an idiot is that i told him what i was thinking, whilst crying hysterically and telling him i wouldn't blame him if he cheated on me with her, because she's young and cute and probably has money to spend on cute clothes and time to do her hair and make up and she's really nice to him and i'm just a scruffy mental cow with no money and no time, always exhausted, no nice clothes, no social life.. So i kind of screeched all this lying curled up on the floor, and i'm an ugly crier so i probably looked like a constipated turtle He was just backing away nervously..haha. Bless him, he explained he would never go there even if she offered it on a plate, which she wasn't even doing, that he loves me despite my obvious mentalness and turtle face

I have no idea why i over reacted so much, i guess i must be exhausted, and i'm now so embarrassed by saying that. And the crying turtle face. So help me out here by telling me how you have embarrassed yourself lately! That will make me feel better!

Awww hun bless you you're not an idiot, its just when you're tired things seem a lot worse than they are and you end up blowing things out of proportion...

Don't have any embaressing stories to hand but the day is still young and it could happen so I'll keep you posted lol xxxxxxxx

Clareandruss, crying at work is an embarrassing one! I once cried at work because a student stuck a pencil in my arm, even the kids were telling me to pull myself together In my defense, it was really painful!

I embarrass myself all the time, I'll have to think of some more. But i just keep replaying myself lying on the floor twitching like an over emotional turtle and I can't stop laughing I don't know how my oh puts up with me sometimes!

I can totally sympathise with you on this. I have a whole list of things just like yours but I'm blaming on hormones: I have terrible tantrums, crying, screaming like a fish wife throwing things, honestly I'm a mad woman and I always feel such a tit after my out bursts.

For example last week, flying home from hols from dh, ellie and mil. We'd pre booked extra leg room seats ad, ae,af. Well there was a cock up with the ground staff and they'd split us up. I protested and wouldn't move from my seat, nor would I permit oh or mil to move. A mad chavvy woman threatened me with violence twice but I wouldn't move, oh and mil were disgusted with me but i was in one. Needless to day I goty own way but I did feel a tit and everyone was looking at me.

I used to hate oh talking about his secretary, really wound me up but I'm sire it's do with baby hormones! Hope you're ok, whatever you've done I bet I've done worse

Ive been like that before, and it all boils down to your self esteem, you need to find what making you feel your not good enough for your partner x

Im really sorry Kat but that made me chuckle. You funny beast you. I'm sure your OH wouldnt mind if you just explained you had a bit of a brain fart (no idea what brain fart is in japanese) because you are enjoying the closeness you two have at the mo and felt threatened.

I dont have any stories at the mo but if i think of any esp ones with animal anecdotes i will let you know asap

BabyMilly, I totally would have freaked out too! I would blame that on Mama Bear hormones, I get so protective of my little family
I'm now scared that my moods are syncronised with lauraplus5, and I have this image of Lisa snowboarding down ayers rock..it must be time for bed!

CarlaAndCallum, aww thanks for remembering! I reckon if this had happened a onth ago my oh would have thrown a huge strop, but he's trying so hard to be more understanding. After my turtle breakdown i went off to baby roup, and when i came home he sat me down and said he should have listened harder and reassured me more thoroughly so i did't have to go into full turtle meltdown. Bless his socks.I'm convinced that while i was gone he was reading up on "How to deal with your insane wife and her crazy demands for cake". We're coming home for a break next month, and when we come back from that we're going to organise visas etc so he can stay longer term Can't wait!

Yep, I told him i really needed to be at home and have my family around me(as well as him of course!), and he doesn't want to lose us, so he's going to try living in England Brave boy!
