| Hopefully its better than the so called 'rapsberry' rubbish they gave us for Aimee. Although he is a little older so at least he understands he has to take it, without having to be put in a headlock and pinned to the ground x |

| Oh hun, im a pharmacy tech, and its really important to spread the doses out and DEFO dont double dose.
Basically antibiotics need to be kept at a steady level in your system to be able to keep up the fighting of the infection.
If you dont keep a steady level, then during that time the bug can attack again......AND the worse thing about it all is that this is one of the reasons why we are getting resistant to antibiotics....the bug 'learns' and re-develops itself to be able to stay around even in the presence of anti'b's
Sorry for the lecture typre response, but yes its pretty important that he gets his midday dose.
We advise for a four times a day dose.....morning, lunch, tea-time, and before bed....so it would just be his lunchtime dose.

| If its impossible to do the lunchtime dose, could you possibly do:
Morning
After School
Bed Time
and then do an extra one when you are going to bed/wake him up for it?

| Our school won't administer anything, even Lewis at 10 was only allowed prescribed eczema cream if I was happy for him to do it or if I walked the 1.5mile round trip to do it. Could you not keep him off school till monday |
