Hermione has a strawberry birth Mark on her bottom . Now because of where it is on her bottom I've to keep an eye on it. I read up on these marks and read because of where it is it may need treating.

How will I know if something is wrong? I don't want her going through anything and I'm hoping it don't grow and stays the same or just goes

I can answer this one as coincidentally Amelia had an appointment with her plastic surgeon today and he notice her birthmarks and said he would treat them aswell. He told us to keep an eye on them and if they start bleeding phone him and hell oversee treatment. I think the worry about it being on her bum is that she lies on it and will eventually sit on it. He said this is why he wants to keep a close eye on Amelias as it on the back of her head, so whenevr shes on her back shes lying on it. Amelias has always been fine though

So you only need to worry really if it starts bleeding or looking sore, youll know if something is wrong x

Chloe has quite a large strawberry mark on the back of head (well I think it's a strawberry mark), should I be concerned about it and do you think I should have a word with my doctor?

Kayleigh I don't suppose you have a picture of Amelia's so I can compare it with Chloe's please.

Thanks

No problem hun. i'll take one when she wakes up from her nap. She actually has 3, the largest being on her chest but as it doesn't get rubbed I'm not concernd by it. They are nothing to worry about as long as they aren't bleeding/sore the plastic surgeon reckons about 90% of them go by the time bubs is 7.

Oh yes Kell I can see why that would concern you. Sorry I thought you meant just on her bum, as in cheek. Obviously you need to be careful. Has it stopped growing yet? x
