Ok so I bought Bob Martin flea tablets for Max and gave him one about a week ago and there are still fleas on him! Have seen 3 since giving him the tablet. So do I give him another tablet or try a different brand? My poor Maxy Moo can't stop scratching

Have you thought about trying frontline? We use this on Poppy and it's brill.

Give him another tablet, can take a couple of doses, also use spray around house and new flea collar.

Tablet will kill all fleas on him and those that jump on him, collar will Assisi in that they don't jump on him. But spray house too, we used the flea b*mbs, did whole house in morning, go out and leave it for a good few hours,

Then strip beds, hoover setters, floors, clean down surfaces

And you should be flea clear, then look at a preventative medication, although we find the collar works for about 3 months, then we change it,

Can you tell we do this often, it's the only way we have stopped them, but do it every 3 months,

we ended up asking the vet with our kitten who was really infested, they will give you slightly stronger medication which is safe for his weight/height and we found it wasn't actually any more expensive than buying stuff from shops (and worked!)

Well no scratching this morning and I am on a hoovering and spray mission now before my driving lesson x
He is back to his usual bonkers self so just need to get them eggs etc... out o the furnishings and carpets x
