Would anyone like to help me with coming up with a name for a beautiful female blue/grey greyhound.



I have fallen in love with this amazing breed, and have been in touch with lancashire retired greyhound trust for some time.....and ive met this beautiful little girl!



She is 3 and wasnt a very good racer, she has also had a broken leg which looks like it has 'set itself' and probably not had veterinary attention for......poor little baby.....so she has a limp, and a turned out foot.



She has met the kids, and is so calm.....and tbh down right lazy



So the only thing left is for her to meet our pug, but hes so laid back hes flippin horizontal...shes getting spayed this week, and then we will do the final meet...



But I cant decide on a name for her?????? Help!



Isla wants Lola, Chris wants Maggie.....but I fancy something different! Chris says hes easy, as long as its something hes not embarassed to shout across the park



What would you call her?

We had a dog called Lulu, I love that name (she's with new owners but they've kept her name)



I also like Daisy xxx

My dog was Mildred, her name suited her so well, she was a mini shnauzer.

Friends of ours have a retired greyhound and she's called tess.

I think she deserves a classy and elegant name. Lola is lovely, you could also consider Tara, Blue, Gabrielle, Camilla, Miranda, Annie, lucinda, lucile

This is the beautiful little one, she is soooo petite, and more like a whippet really xx

One of you has mentioned the name I would like to call her, but I will wait for anymore suggestions first....as Chris is proving hard to convince, hence why im asking for more ideas xx

Aww cute, I can see her as a Connie or Annie.

awww I like lady or Bella... or lola I do think suits her too

i love the name tess/tessie for a female doggie that was my grandmas name, and i know if i had a female dog id call it that
hmmm belle, millie, beau (love that!) and also blue too xx

Hope, or faith, she looks a little sad and I think she will be your loyal companion, so a name that gives you strength would be nice xx

Shes called Lucianna by the rescue centre (they just give them a name for paperwork reasons really), and Isla has been really cute when weve been talking about and visiting her.....she keeps saying 'I love Loochee nar-ner'

She is gorgeous and I think LuLu is very fitting

are you having to muzzle her while outside incase some tiny dog or cat gets it? lol

Shes cat and small dog friendly Steph! I will muzzle her for a while though, but thats more because she is so timid, incase anything spooks her.



Shes so soft and gentle.....but a food stealer!!!



We are going to have to reassure her that she will always get fed xxx
