Little Miss Monkeychops christening today.
Had the lovely JoA down to stay so yesterday was much amusement from the 2 toddlers. They were mostly very good though there was nearly a fistfight over a toy dyson. Solved it with an enforced nap for Lil Chicken and life was much sweeter after. Night off diet for jo and i with amaretto and icecream!
Early start for me this morning unfortunately. 5am an alarm goes off sounding just like the angelcare mat and neil and i went thundering up the stairs to find both girls sleeping peacefully-was next dors frigging smoke alarm AGAIN! still after that was wide awake so put ER on quietly and watched it for a while. Monkey chops was up from 530 but managed to get c back down til 7. Mad old morning til going out involving one lizard bite to my finger and a lot of rushing around, only got out 15 mins later than planned though. All 3 girls looked completely gorgeous but I am horibly baised and couldnt believe how awesome little A was in her christening dress.
Service was lovely, the vicars nuts and brought party poppers and madam had a bottle, fell asleep and missed the whole thing, didnt even stir when she had her hair washed by the chap in the dress.
Went to the pub for grub after. Service was abominably slow but the atmos was nice and cake nicer! Have discovered an important fact-my toddler is to be kept away from cake icing. i think she didnt so much go to sleep tonight as lapse into a coma once the sugar high wore off.
Once we all left neils bro and sis in law dewcended with their 4 kids-chaos for a cpl hours and we were glad when they finally went too and we could have some quiet time. caelyn opened all awens pressies for her cos shes good like that lol and little madam has been spoiled rotten! both went to bed at 640 deadon their feet bless em and im following v soon, will try and get a cpl photos up shortly xxx
