Well as the title said I'm back at work tomorrow and I'm absolutely dreading it. Feel like I've spent most of today preparing as well (sewing labels on Jamie's clothes, finding my school stuff, tidying) and haven't really done anyone else although we did take Jamie to the park this morning. I keep telling myself that I only ever have to get through five days at a time but always have work to do at the weekend (although am going to try and be more effecient and get it done in the week) so that's not entirely true

you'll be fine, when I went back I found up the build up to going was worse than starting back, you'll soon be in a routine and appreciate the time you have with Jamie even more, Good luck xx

Bug hugs hun The build up is horrible. I'm a teacher too and always used to have a tonne of work at home but I've found since I went back that I just prioritise more and Stephen comes first so I don't bring work home like I used to, you just work it out. Hope you have a good day xxx

Hi hun, i'm a teacher too and its horrible going back after the hols let alone going back and leaving your baby for the first time. I remember shortly after I went back after my first baby, she was about 8 months old and was crawling around the floor while i was doing some school work, she kept grabbing my things and I told her off. I felt so bad and put it all away to spend time with her. I now try and do as much work in school but sometimes it seems endless. Good luck for tomorrow.

Was actually ok. I'd forgotten about the fact that I do love my job. Part of what I was worrying about it is the morning and getting out but we were up at 6, out by 6.30 and I was at work at 7.30. Jamie loved nursery and my friend sent me a message saying he was a pleasure to have and a lovely little boy. He came home and slept though which means he has just got up. He is still tired so hoping it won't be for long. We did try and keep him awake when he got back but there was just no way we could

Glad it went well, I couldn't imagine not working now, think I'd go crazy!
