is anyone worried about it, I know its not exactly a hurricane now as it has to be 90mph to be classified so its more of a tropical storm. I know that at the moment I am safe as it is supposed to miss us but cant help thinking all its going to take is a wind direction x

well according to the met office we are in the middle of the 'be prepared' zone......hmm, i wonder how to be prepared?!

I am in Wales so assume we are safe????
Although it was very windy and hammered down last night for an hour or so then suddenly stopped

the northern half of wales has a 'be aware' warning for tomorrow

I'm in South West x

lol put things inside so they don't blow away and don't leave your windows open cos they'll get ripped off!

I would put the garden furniture inside but we don' thave an inside big enough for it. Ooooh just realised we've lent out the mower so the plastic shed isn't weighted down by anything either!

Well so long as it doesn't all blow over the 5ft fencing all round the garden we should be fine (just have visions of my shed blowing down the main road lol

scary stuff when your not used to it, I have a colleague in the BVI and they are just so used to it in the middle of hurricane season.

Windy and horrible here this morning, Have put a lid on my recycling box as things keep blowing away!

it has been raining heavy but i see blue skies coming my way !

hmm well until 8.30 it was quite sunny and rainbowy, however now we are dressed the sky has gone black and the rain is horizontal!

We are quite windy here, more than normal but nothing too serious, the fat pigeon was still making a noise on my chimney this morning so can't be that bad!

we've just been out with the trike, very windy but managed to stay upright!

I need to go to town...but I think I will leave it til tomorrow...Izzy can't walk in the wind like that and I think pushing the pushchair would be hard!

We're over near Cambridge, so quite south east, and we nearly got blown away walking home from town, Milo was clinging onto the buggy looking terrified! Hope you're all staying safe in the windy places xx

Really windy here! My neighbour brought my bin up drive this morning as usual (He's 73.... should really be the other way round ) and said he'd spent half an hr gathering up diet pepsi btls of ours from bottom of street as our bin had tipped. I hadnt even noticed and was all cosy in the house while a pensioner cleared up my mess - whoops!
