My slow cooker is knackered I do my casserole's in there but will have to one in the oven for supper. How long does it stay in the oven for??

As long as poss on as low as poss to make the meat nice and tender...I try to do on about 150 (fan assisted) in a covered casserole dish for about 3 hours

(thats with the onions half cooked & beef browned)


The beef just falls apart then

You can get it cooked in less time on a higher temp, maybe 180 for an hour and a half but it never tastes as good lol

Yeh, sliced up as normal,

I put the packet mix in boiling, usually the packet says use cold water, but it must make it faster if the water is already hot!
