As long as poss on as low as poss to make the meat nice and tender...I try to do on about 150 (fan assisted) in a covered casserole dish for about 3 hours
(thats with the onions half cooked & beef browned)
The beef just falls apart then
You can get it cooked in less time on a higher temp, maybe 180 for an hour and a half but it never tastes as good lol
