A friend was after some bits which the shops in our town sold so I offered to get them for her and send them...

I bought the things about 2/3 weeks ago but last week I was still recovering from being ill but a promise made is a promise kept so I dragged my butt to town and paid almost £7 for the privilge of sending them, it was over 1000g so had to go 1st class have I even had a thank-you?? No grrrrr

Sorry for the moan but I'm fed up, my bad hip is aching and I'm tired xxxxxxx

Thats really ungrateful! I would send a message and ask if she (or he) got them x

She got the parcel as it was only a few pence more to send it recorded and me being of suspicious mind when it comes to the royal mail I prefer sending stuff recorded (think it's only 79p to upgrade to recorded) xxxx
