| If you are worried that your FB activity is now being seen by everyone - its simple to fix!
If you see things on your profile wall that you don't want in the scrolly thing: On your profile wall click the cross on the right of the 'activity update' on your profile wall, then click 'hide all recent friending/liking/whatever activity from my profile' -
You can do it for pages you like, people you become friends with, when you've commented on soandsos wall etc etc...
Basically if it's on your profile people will see it - so hide it!
You can see what is hidden by going all the way to the bottom of your profile wall and clicking Edit options..it will show you what is hidden.
This is not new, but people aren't ware of how to hide it, my wall has not shown these things for ages cos quite frankly I don't want everyone seeing everything I do!

| I can still see who's statuses you have commented on in the scrolly box but, granted they are mutual friends. I think mine is set the same as you, havent checked but will in a bit.
The thing that bugs me is people can see in real time what you are at. I love lurking about and commenting on older statuses and nobody knowing unless theyve previously commented and get a notification. Now if I comment on any panda's status it comes up in scrolly box for all to see. Not that im saying anything inappropriate/private... I just dont like it! Plus I always put appear offline, so it gives the game away that you are online and ignoring people if they can see that you have commented on a mutual friends status (even if it was something from yday) that they previously wouldnt have been aware of unless they'd decided to visit the same friends page.... You follow any of my ranting lol?
Its the bloody jumbled up order thats annoying me the most atm. I read a press release from FB and they say this is so if you havent been on fb for a few days you get the top stories without having to scroll down for hrs at a time, fair enough, but surely the old way of letting you pick between top stories and most recent covered that! How the heck do they know what statuses I think are most important???? |

| Snoopy I know exactly what you mean - I can't skive so easily now as some work colleagues on fb too might see what I'm up to when I'm meant to be working from home!! |
