| Can your child pedal yet? I keep trying to show Oliver how to pedal his bike but hes just having none of it and would rather use his trike like a Ride on! Kids at school seem to be pedalling but olivers just not getting the hang of it. How do you get a toddler to pedal? Also, he's got a motorised trike which he's had a year now but he refuses to use the pedal to make it move and uses that like a ride on too. We try and show him but he gets really mad at us!! |

| Libby knows what to do but hasnt got the strength in her skinny little legs to push We've got this crappy little ride on trike thing (its really old, Simon's dad brought it round ) and she prefers to go on that than her bike. |

| Immi attempts but her legs don't properly reach. Little shorty! We encourage her but its sort of pointless till she can reach. I wouldnt worry too much, keep encouraging him and he'll get it soon |

| Are the pedals on the wheel of the bike or straight down,
Andrew struggles with pedaling the trike with the wheels on the pedal but can pedal backwards on his proper bike (the ones with stabilizers) he still can't quite go forward with the big bike but I think that has more to do with strength than not knowing.

| braden wont either, he knows the technique and pedals backwards then a bit forward then backwards etc etc again cos he just hasnt got the strength to push it over when the pedals reached the top
However his friend who is the exact same age has been pedalling for about 5 months now! x |

| Nope Thomas sounds like some of the others - he can do it and makes vague attempts at it but gets bored very quickly if it doesn't happen and pushes with his feet again xx |
