Yh we would stay near the island we know londons a 2 hour drive so prob looking at max drive of 2 and a half hour drive so can pick him up ect

Where Nice in Southampton? I don't know mainland that well I just know Rochdale in Manchester

If Rochdale is all you have to judge 'mainland' by hun anywhere else will be fab by comparison Laughing I don't think I've ever been anywhere as skanky and depressing as Rochdale tbh scratch

I was gonna say get yourselves up north too as it's much cheaper living up here than 'darn sarth' but I forgot you have Ian's son to think about.

Lol rochdale was horrid I lived there when I was 15 with my ex I can admit I have never Been so scared it was horrid!
I looked at sone places In Yorkshire what looked really nice my mum and dad go there alot an say hw nice it is!
And a for ians son we never see him so even if wr move as fat as scottlanf it can be a holiday for him when he's aloud near me (long story)

I live down south (in the portsmouth area) there are loads of lovely places to live, check out chichester and the surrounding area, would you want town city or village?

god Char I think there's so many nice places you'd want to sort of try them and see first.

I've onyl ever been to a few places in the UK, Brighton, southampton Salisbury, Cardiff and London. All very different but nice for different reasons. If I could afford to I'd love to live in Brighton but it's VERY expensive. Southampton is nice so is Salisbury.

haha that's no use is it but maybe a fact finding trip to the UK is in order!

it's actually lovely and cheap up here compared to down south, i was pleasantly shocked when i came up here
