| hmm let me see... 110g Softened butter 110g Caster sugar 110g Self raising flour 2 eggs 45g cocoa powder 3 tbsp milk ( iv made one lot with cherries, so i added 100g canned cherries (de stoned and chopped) and one lot with raisins and just substituted the cherries with raisins, but you could add more or less whatever, and i also put in some chocolate chips) -Preheat oven to 180 Degrees c -Mix butter and sugar until light and fluffy -Crack in eggs and beat well until combined -Fold in flour, cocoa and milk, - Fold in additional ingredients (such as cherries/raisins/choc chips) ADD MORE MILK IF MIX IS TOO DRY, iv found it works better if a little wetter, but mix shouldnt fall off an upturned spoon. -grease and line a suitable baking tin -pour into tin and bake for 10-12 mins or until well risen but still gooey in the middle ( mine usually take less than 10 mins). Cool on a wire rack and then cut up. If you overcook it slightly, put a tea towel over the top whilst they are cooling as the condensation will soak back in and make them a bit softer. |

| Thank you. I'm going to try again and hopefully they'll come out decent. Good idea about tea towel over them whilst cooling x |
