E L C!!


So they reordered my stuff last week to arrive TUESDAY, so I thought oh good I can go to the post office on Monday, which I need to do as have so much sewing stuff to post


Get a text this morning to say delivery will be today ..anytime before 9PM FFS!




Hmmmmm its now 10 minutes to 9 and NO SIGN


ANOTHER WASTED DAY. Tomorrow they are going to get a roasting from me, this is shite!

OMG the frikking twangcunts (as OH would say).

I think you should be getting some sort of compensation for your experience - some vouchers at the very least, or a discount on your current order, AND if you aren't having it for the size of your order then the delivery should be free.

Perhaps you should mention this network of mums you've been badmouthing them to already!

Threaten to cancel the order - say you've seen exactly the same thing elsewhere at a lower price since, only you'd gone with ELC cos the delivery was avaiable, only now you've had enough and you thing you'd rather go collect the things yourself from the other retailers you've seen.....

I always find a good way to start is to say to whoever answers the phone "I have a lot of shouting to do so if you could get me the most senoir person in your office it will save me from having to shout at you first"

That's bang out of order, I'd say it all on phone then send email and a letter to managing director too.

Compensation should be in triple figures for this huge mess and I'd say you also ate not paying for the goods that you ordered either

Lol EmV - yes I feel like I have LOTS of shouting to do - Im fed up of wasted days, cant even pop to the park, cos I know if I miss the delivery I will have all this hassle again!


EmC - NO! He was sposed to collect it Thursday...then Friday...but didnt, so I rang and moaned so they said easier to reorder for delivery Tuesday- to which I agreed cos I wanted to be able to do stuff today!

They obviously don't have much 'say' over the courier if the courier gets away with crap like this - you'd think a company like ELC would have enough clout to make sure their courier does a good job!

mine came on Friday but nooone was home. Re-arranged delivery for today and OH stayed in all day with Arwyn waiting on it. He checked the tracker and it said I hadn't rearranged the delivery... scratch so he has to stay in again tomorrow!

What is going on with courier companies!!!!!??

I am waiting on the new cot bed to be delivered and their 'tracking' info says that it never arrived at the depost (hmmm) so I rang them (twice) and was told that it was on the van and will be here today (hmmmm). We will see! x

They said its a priority delivery for Tomorrow - that would eb the 6th day Ive been told it will arrive!


I can't stay at home tomorrow as I have a million things to do - so I've told them 5 days of the courier not delivering when they said they would is not good enough and I want to cancel and have my money back

Mine didnt arrive either! Evil or Very Mad

After much ranting at the delivery company and the shop, it turns out it wasnt ever dispatched from the shop. They have refunded my money and 'apparently' its coming tomorrow.

They even asked me if I could collect it from the depot - er, its a heavy cot bed and im pregnant - morons!!

I hope yours arrives tomorow Lisa and you also get a decent voucher/refund.

They are all like that now. I ordered something from Tesco which then turned out to be out of stock... they took the money and it took a week to come back to me! Surely they shouldnt even charge for it when its not in stock. So many companies are morons now and they just dont have good customer service.

I wont hold my breath on the cot coming tomorrow either x
