| Noah's been a bit constipated, and hadn't pood for the past two days, which is not really a worry in itself, but he finally did a giant poo today but there some dark bits of something in it.. quite worried! It didn't look like blood or anything scary, but it was dark brown, some bits were almost like a tiny thread, others were small lumps (but not hard id that makes sense). He has had a cold/stuffy nose until this week, so I did wonder if it could be mucus that he's swallowed that's made it's way through, or something connected to his immunisations? I'm a bit worried in case it's something more sinister - any ideas?

| weird, is it possible milo has given him something to eat like a bit of biscuit??? when eli has had a cold his poo is mucousy, i mean literally like snotty (yuck!) so i wouldn't have thought it would be dark. if he has been constipated on and off though it might be old poo making its way out with new poo??!!! gross, im going back to my tea now |

| The stringy bits could be the cold. I suspect the darker buts are just old poo |

| It does sound like it was probably to do with his cold - I think Tyler had similar ones back in the day ahhh you forget how observant you become of pooh once they get older I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to the pooh chat again lol. |

| Has he had bananas this week?
If so, it is definately that......Isla used to get what looked like fine black hairs in her poo, and I found out later that bananas cause it....I was so freaked out!!! |

| Hmm.. wonder if it's all the old mucus then.. It's definitely not bananas as the poor little sausage isn't weaned yet Interesting to know that though, how odd! and pretty sure Milo hasn't given him anything to eat. I am relieved that no-one's said it's anything scary, for the moment I will keep an eye on him, and see how the next poo goes. Thanks for helping! |

| Well, after his morning milk, he brought up a little milk, and some of it was normal milk, and some was brown mucus-like stuff. Only a little, but definitely noticeable. His nose is still a little bit snuffly first thing in the morning, but nowhere near as bad as last week, so not sure why he'd be bringing up mucus now and not last week.. Do you think I should be worried? |
