since about 7-8weeks i've been SO tired, i can barely move in the evenings and it's rare i can stay awake later than 10pm

now i was tired in my previous pregnancies but never so bad, especially since pre-preg i never even considered sleeping til past midnight!

at 13weeks i thought it'd have slowly gotten better by now, but it's actually getting worse

anyone else experienced such bad exhaustion throughout the whole pregnancy, or do i have hope that it might end soon??

I was like that pretty much the whole time. Was often in bed by 7 or 8 although I tended to hurt so much I couldn't sleep for very long. However, I also felt sick pretty much the whole time so I suspect that may be why.
Have you had your iron levels checked? If not have you thought about cutting back on the exercise a little bit to see if that helps

i've already cut back on the exercise, i only work out every other day at the minute, sometimes longer between because i am too tired.

not had iron levels checked yet so might be something to get checked i suppose when i see the mw

Erm don't know. I would get your iron checked as it could be that.

i would definitey get iron checked, up til about 15 weeks i was absolutely unbelievably tired, but it did start to get better!

i have been taking pregnacare since monday now and was up till after 1 am last night ( maybe the iron in that was just what i needed ) !
for the past 6 weeks i am lucky if i have seen 10pm and usually have an afternoon sleep too ( didnt yesterday actually but due to a crappy sleep last night with heat i am just awake from a 2 hour sleep )

I am 10 weeks along with number 3 and I am absolutely exhausted, I struggle going out during the day because the extra exercise means I cant stay awake past the kids bedtime, am missing all the telly programs i like lol, maybe its normal for third babies? hope you get some energy back soon

michelle, MW has referred me for the healthy start multivits so hopefully that'll help


randome but can low blood pressure cause tiredness? got it checked today and bp has dropped to 96/54 so it's dropped every time i've had it checked so far and sam seems quite worried about it being so low but nurse at hossie didn't seem bothered

Yes it can. I get tired and dizzy when I have low blood pressure

I was shattered throughout with number 3. But I was doing a nursery and school run (around 4.5 miles) walking a day try the vits they should improve a bit, but I think it's time of year aswell.. We're all snuggling down for the winter oh is that just me
