| I have done and still would. I don't buy loads of shoes and clothes as I'd rather save up and get something that I really want and that will last.
I don't spend loads on Ellie though as she's growing too quickly. |

| For boots i would as you will wear them loads, I spend about 120 each year on boots, i buy a brown pair of boots one year and then a black pair the next year and so each pair gets 2 years worth of wear which i think is not a waste of money. I have found the cheaper ones dont last as long as i have to replace them more frequently x |

I was of that thinking the same until one week I was in *Ethel Austen sp?* its ALWAYS closing down and they do nice vests for Izzy..anyway saw a pair of nice brown boots £25 in the sale though £20 so got em...I've had more people say how nice they are than any other pair of boots and they are still like new and i wear them all the time..so they were a really good buy at £20 and tbh I did think they'd fall apart after 2 months but they proved me wrong! |

| I agree Lisa, every now and again you get a great bargain but unfortunately it does not happen often enough! |

| hmm well my 'everyday' shoes are literally every day as i don't go out drinking and stuff the trainers i have just now have lasted 2 years (only briefly replaced by wellies for a month which then exploded), and walk at least 3 miles a day so they have to be sturdy and comfy.... hm maybe when my magical ppi windfall appears i will treat myself, i feel too old for trainers! |

Yeh not often enough! Its always a risk too...at least when you buy good qaulity you can pretty much safely say they will last a good while! In fact the red or dead boots are still good condition...alhough I dont wear them cos they a bit pointy lol..and i paid quite a lot for my destroy boots, like this http://www.hobsonshoes.co.uk/Product-5047- ... had them a few year but they do need replacing now really |

| Have have just spent about that on my winter boots. I will wear them until they die. They'll last an awful lot longer than uggs that a lot of people wear and I've had so many people stop me and ask where I got them from. I will live in my boots this winter and I only spent about £30 on 2 pairs of summer shoes so I don't feel too bad.
