Went to look at a school nursery yesterday for Chloe and I loved it, it was just perfect, so we're putting her name down and fingers crossed she will get offered a place. She won't start until next September. Pointless post really but just wanted to share

Aww it's nice when you find one you love. I've put Imogen's name down for a lovely one but seems really popular so don't know if she'll get the place.

This one has quite a big intake so I'm hopeful, it's just under a mile from me too so not too far. It had two lovely big nursery rooms with loads of activities then a massive outdoor area with Wendy houses, sandpits, loads of play equipment and the security was really good, there are 3 lockable gates and a buzzer system to get anywhere near the school, then you have to go through reception to get near classrooms, it made me feel a bit safer. I'm so excited for her

Sounds great! a bit like the one I want Imogen to go to.
She has a place from jan at another one, but it's just got one tiny playroom and a garden with not a lot going on in it so I'm not I want to send her there. When does Chloe get her funding..April?

Yeah in April, but they only do intakes in January or September. We did toy with the idea of putting her into a private nursery until then, but with another baby on the way we need to save as much money as we can so am just going to wait until she gets her funded place.

Aw I bet she'll love it!! Libby's been going 2 sessions a week (2.5 hours) since September and absolutely loves going, she asks everyday if it's 'school today mummy?' Preschool 270211

Sounds quite similar to the one Libby goes to, we've got the added bonus that hubby used to go when he was tiny and we know most of the staff and children/mothers as its a small town Laughing
