I'm starting to panic a bit. This pregnancy has flown by and i don't feel prepared for this baby yet! I wasn't expecting to have him yet and i didn't get chance to nest or prepare the house or finish getting his clothes ready or watch my breastfeeding dvd! Erm i'm freaking out a bit

with Isla i was so desperate to have her out, and get on with being a mum......but can honestly say I felt exactly the same as you with Jess, I was ready for her, but didnt feel 'ready' to have her!

Could have stayed pg for a cpl of months longer whilst I got my head round it

Yes its normal! Im feeling a bit like that this weekend. I blame you but Laughing Iv been feeling baby move at odd angles and convinced myself its transverse & I too will end up in hospital and having an early c-sec (all mental bollocks and in my head lol)

I think its dawning on me that at nearly 33 wks pg its not impossible for baby to arrive healthy and naturally in 4-5 wks time. Im working up until 38 weeks and even though its usually only 2-3 days a week im in work, the fact that its often 26 hr shifts and im knackered after isnt leaving much free time for sorting cupboards/rooms out. Im barely keeping up with day to day things.
The moses basket is still in attic at mums, dont have cot matress, havent bothered buying more than a cpl of vests and sleepsuits as dont know sex and all Caitlin clothes are still in bin liners in mums attic unsorted and unwashed. No idea when all that is going to be sorted. As for hospital bag, with Caitlin that was packed from about 26 wks but this time I havent even thought about it. In fact the bag I intend to use is the overnight bag I use for work so no chance of me even packing it until 38 wks.

So yup I know how you feel. BUT the rational part of me says when will you ever be prepared? If I had 12 more weeks left id still leave it all til last min. Also what do babys really need? Mess can be tidied round a baby, baby wont care that cupboards are cluttered, they wont notice that clothes are hastily washed and dryed and not freshly taken out of a cupboard were they have been sitting for weeks.

Try not to stress, even though id be doing the same lol! You wont give a shit next week! Laughing
