what would you do...

now, the front wheels on our sola are knackered, we have taken them to bits, oiled/wd40d them and that does help for a bit but then they get muddy and are broken again.....its doing my head in! i can use it with the front wheels locked but then its hard to do shopping cos you can't drive one-handed that way...

i have asked mamas n papas and they say as its under 2 years they will give me a repair quote, but thats no good as i would have to send it away!! they also do not sell the chassis on its own.

so essentially we need a new pram. now i don't really want a buggy type as i just dont like them Laughing we walk ALOT and i do really like elijah facing me, i also need a big basket and very sturdy wheels.....but......i dont want to pay £300 because hopefully now eli has been walking nearly 9 months we won't need it for ages, and when i get pg again i probably would want a new system then...

sorry this has turned into a really confusing post. anyway imagine you need a new pram but you are picky as f*ck, what would you do? Laughing

Hmm, rear facing prams tend to be costly unless you look on ebay..Have you checked out to see if there are any chassis on ebay?

( I can't believe he's still rear facing lol, If I put Oliver rear facing he'd stick his head out to the side to see everything Laughing )

what about the silver cross linear, its a really sturdy pram with front or rear facing seat unit.

You can pick them up for reasonable money - £100 or less

I really do love mine, Im glad I never sold it!

I used a normal stroller for a few months while my friend had the Loola for her newborn til she saved to buy a nice pushchair... and I was SO glad to get it back

I LOVE having Izzy facing me now, its so easy to steer, especially compared to strollers (even easier than my cossato and that takes some doing cos its like a feather to steer!)

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with having toddlers rearfacing, I wish Oliver would sometimes..but he'd rather stick his head round and get it walloped by a car cos he's so nosy Rolling Eyes
