I got this for Lily today for christmas but now i am wondering if i should have checked out some others first! I got a bit carried away as i had a voucher for 20% off i think. Has anyone got one of these or something similar and if so would you recommend?

Not got this 1 or a child friendly 1 (didnt know they did them) but we got 1 6 mths ago because Paige got bored on long journeys It was a bog standard 40 quid comet one and does the job, kids being kids she can now work it better than us

I prefer the type like that design as I think its easier for them to watch in the car (the second one comes with a mount for the headrest too - my mum has one very similar and its great

Not sure how the ELC fits to the seat cos its quite chunky?

Aimee and Lily (Lily doesnt use hers yet) have got in car ones and they are great. We got them a few months ago and they are brilliant when going on long journeys. I didnt think Aimee would be bothered by them, but I got loads of Disney DVD's from ebay for about £1 each and she thinks its great.

We also got some Peppa Pig DVD's from Tesco (£4) and she loves watching those. She also had it when she was in hospital and it was an absolute godsend for keeping her entertained x

We have cars ones (got two for £85 in toys rus) they aren't child friendly like that but are fairly sturdy. Imogen loves it, she's so into her disney dvds atm.
