Izzy is supposed to be going swimming at 5...so at 2.30 I put her down for her nap - she always naps!

Not today though, still up there mooching, 'ohhh lovely lovely curtains' and other randomness and has just announced loudly 'No Snoozing Today'

If she doesn't nap she cant go swimming as will be a right grumpy bum


They always pick the day they NEED to snooze...to not have one!

It's so annoying isn't it! Imogen always does that on days we need to go out later so she'll need her nap.

She is still awake!
So far she has complained about an intchy ankle, a sore bum, a cut finger, hungry, needs a poo, needs a wee...anything she can think of!

She keeps going quiet for 5 mins and I think phheww she has dropped off...then she starts again!


2 hours she been up there, no crying just mooching round in the dark making up fake injuries!

Chloes the same today. I'm feeling really rough today and could do with a sleep,but the little monkey won't nap. She always has an afternoon sleep. Going to give up in a minute

Aimee doesnt nap now in the day. She was getting too naughty at night, so we cut out her daytime nap and she now goes to bed at 6.30pm which is working well, as we can give Lily a bottle and Aimee is asleep before we have to take Lily up to bed x

She went in the end...4.30! So only got an hour as pushed swimming back a bit!

I don't think I'd like it if she didn't sleep in the afternoon, its a 2 hour break I NEEEEDD, I'd never get any housework done otherwise!

Emma has never napped in the day. Maybe she's slowly growing out of it? I feel fo you as without Emma napping house work is a nightmare. Might be all change tomorrow though :-)

She loves her nap and normally doesnt have a problem...she was just excited about swimming!

LOL! Get use to it ladies..as the mother of a 17 year old...Kids NEVER do what you want them to do and in your time frame! I just learned to accept it, as beating them soundly is illegal!
