Well, i did a post a while ago about post-baby contraception, have finally decided to go for the implant My OH said, well it's not like your mood swings could get worse! Poor thing! So, I'm hoping it will fatten me up a bit , not turn me into a hormonal wreck, and not make my af come back suddenly. Wish me luck!! Is it painful to get it put in? The doctor said it wouldn't hurt, but I'm not sure I believe her!

Ooohh im going for that too after this buba! The hormones are similar to mini pill cerazette which I had after Caitlin so hoping I dont do to bad on it. As for weight - I want the opposite! Im hoping to not put weight on! Maybe we could send weight back and forth to eachother? I'l be watching this for people's opinions!

Snoops, I'll trade you a bony wrist for a womanly curve please, any one will do! I'm hoping the hormones won't be too bad, I used to think i got bad PMT when I was on the pill, but on reflection I think that may just have been my ex! Anyway, it seems like the least painful/annoying option, so I hope it works out x

I got on quite well with the implant! They give you an injection to numb where they are putting it so no it doesn't hurt, but I did bruise which hurt! Also you have a dead arm for a while, moods and periods are different for everyone, I still had af but was much lighter and my moods were ok, I think I managed to steer clear of weight gain which I was happy about but mostly because I dieted!

Aww that sounds good Kell! Would love to have lighter af's, they used to be horrible I only had 1 period between Milo and Noah so it's going to be a shock when they come back! Anyway, due to have the implant in on the 31st, so will let you all know how it's going and how much it hurt (I am a wimp)

I am having it done in 3 weeks and the fact that its similar to cezarette doesnt fill me with joy!!! I went a bit crazy on that and felt suicidal! But the doc wouldnt give me my usual pill because of my age/weigh.smoking even though 6 months ago when they gave me it i was 2 stone heavier!!! So watch this space, i may kill someone yet!!
