Well what a bloody palava that was. Thought I better ring the docs as not had my booking appointment yet or scan date and the receptionist told me that I wouldn't be seem by a midwife until 16 weeks obviously that's not right so I rang my midwife who told me she couldn't book me in I had to ring the antenatal clinic directly. Tried to ring them and told they are closed for lunch from 12-2.30!

Finally spoke to someone who says, oh yes they've already been booked. Well were you going to tell me then?

Anyway, my booking appt is on 14th November and my scan on 30th

jeez that's a hassle and a half getting the dates sorted...i bet if you'd not been told and missed the appointments you'd have gotten a telling off(we get really rude letter from doc when we miss appointments)

I'm excited and nervous too, will be a relief to know if everything is ok.

They're hopeless round here, god knows when I'd have seen someone if I hadn't bothered to chase it up
