Our town is rubbish for bonfires, they only have one and its £5 per adult and isn't that good

There is one at Weston Park we've been to a few times, its £16 a car, so a bit more more, although its 45 minutes away in the car...anyway they have a fun fair and radio etc there and really good fireworks

Reckon we will go to Weston Park again

What are you doing?

We're going to Blackpool to the inlaws and it's illuminations switch off weekend so I'm hoping there is some sort of display to take the kids to. Will get some sparklers and stuff for the garden too Smile

there is a huge free one just down the road from us, not sure if we are going to go as its at bedtime and i think the fireworks might be a bit loud for elijah - if we want to go look we will maybe go up the hill we live on so we can watch them without the big booms Smile

Lily is going to be in bed babysat by nanny x

We might be going to two, one at Manor Park on the Sat and one at the football club on the Sunday. might be not sure yet. I'd rather go to the football club as there is seating as Manor park is such a big advent and i'm scared we might lose Rowan

Yes they charge .. do you know how much fireworks cost?! its like thousands of pounds plus its at a stately house and its a massive event

Usually the only free ones are run by local organisations who have raised money to pay for it already!

Dont really celebrate it here. The army camp does but and we can see a few of their fireworks from our living room window but cant see the bonfire. We aren't allowed on camp obviously.

Basically we doing nothing, same as everyone else here!

Pen, we went to Spike Island a couple of times before Bethany came along and it was ok, good fireworks but as you say parking was a bit of a nightmare so we were usually parked somewhere off Ashley Way and walked the rest of the way.
We have got a little box of fire works for Bethany and I've planned to do a hotpot, some hotdogs and some other bits.

Lesley, I'm ashamed to say that I've probably only ever been there once!

I love Spike Island but just hate crowds of pushing people and hunting for a parking space!

I'm happy with our own little party in our garden xxx

I know what you mean Pen, I couldn't think of anything worse than pushing through the crowds.

Umm well we was a drayton manor sat and they had a bonfire display and noah loved them. The weather forecast here is heavy rain sat so will see what its like on the night.

But if weather ok, we usually go tamworth castle for their display they have a fun fair there too, or might go to a pub thats doing them or go to SILs if raining and have a chill out night there.
