So this morning I got told that I've been accepted for voluntary redundancy.....It feels so odd!!!!!!!!

So come the 31st of December I'll be unemployed but with 7.5 months worth of wages sat in my bank account.

I'm going to be looking for any job going so no doubt I'll be driving you all up the wall for interview advice etc.

I'm sad because I loved my job and those I work with and I knew it inside out, was respected and trusted. But I'm excited about what's coming! x

Thanks ladies! I am happy about it. I had to get out, everything is so uncertain and I don't cope well with it. I'd have been getting very stressed if I'd stayed. It's all very exciting.

Good luck with the job hunting! Redundancy is a strange experience, I was made redundant in 2002 and we still meet up for an annual reunion in a curryhouse (typically about 50 people show up, though that includes partners and kids). Hope it all works out for the best!
