On Thursday night I had to go out to a footy meeting and as oh comes in last his car is easiest to get out so I took his car.

So I got in to his ( not very old) (very snazzy) car and reversed it out of our drive and into the side of a parked car! THEN I thought I'll have to park up and try to find the owner of the car, so I drove a couple of meters up our road and reversed into our drive .......... But reversed into the wall instead!!

I can't believe I did this, I'm usually a good driver and this car not only has parking sencors it also has cameras so there's a screen in the car showing were you're going!

I feel such a knob! It's going to cost over £2k to mend the damage!!

Thankfully oh is lovely and forgave me can now see the funny side!

I reversed my car into a post/pillar recently and it made me feel sick I was so pissed off with myself and I only smashed the light cover on the back break. you do feel like an utter knob when your careless but hey better a silly bit of damage over something serious x

I cringe everytime I think about it! I got to my meeting and rang oh and sai I've crashed your car twice!!

Our drive way is really wide and I reverse mine in and out all day without sensors and cameras!!

Oh thinks it hilarious now and is telling everyone what I did.

erm yeah and me lol. I purposly avoid reversing. Oh well I'll have to practise in Daves car as it has front and rear sensors and a camera. Maybe that will sort me out, or not as in Penny's case lol x

haha his work pay insurance so it honestly doesn't matter. He's getting a new Jag XF S in January and I'll be driving that! The roads will not be safe lol

I've not got sensors on my car but one of my bessies has and tbh I think it would put me off as it drives me made whenever we are in her car.

just to add i dont have sensors but i do not and cannot reverse for love nor money !
i tend to park further away just to get a space i can get into and try avoiding reversing out
so i have a real cheek laughing at you xx

Glad its not just me, ive reversed into things a few times. Short ass, big car not good, never used to do it in my Mini its only been since we got 'real' cars

Lesley, his first reaction was definitely NOT laughter, the laughter didn't come til late on Friday!

When I got home with the car he just stood outside with his head in his hands! My darling 14 year son also stood outside peeing himself laughing saying "ooooh Marko look at this bit here" hahahaha! Whilst I sat in the hall crying!

We're still not sure whether to pay for it or put in an insurance claim! He's worrying about losing his no claims and also he has a £500 excess!
The first bump was the bumper, which will need to come off but all the cameras and sensors are in there so it's a big job. The second bump is really bad the rear side panel will need replacing. Oh reckons it will have to through the Lexus dealer!

But hey ho! I'm totally forgiven and he's put it down to me been stressed about my troublesome daughter!
