| Started bleeding overnight/this morning. Not loads but deff a lot more than i ever had with Imogen. I know it doesn't deff mean i'm miscarrying but i can't help but think the worse. i've had bad stomach pains for a few days too. Bit of a pointless point sorry, but i'm just feeling sorry for myself and needed to share. I'm off to the drs at 9.45.

| Awww Hun. Fingers crossed for you. I never bled at all with Caitlin so I cant offer any advice, I did have bad cramping though but was told this was just the uterus stretching. Iv heard of lots of people spotting during PG, but I know thats no comfort to you right now. Really hope everything goes ok. (((HUGS))) xxx |

| Nope no reason other than that must be what my body does in pregnancy as it's happened with all three! Think it's just one of those things for me and cause they can't say why they just blamed my body!! Let us know how it goes at docs Hun and if ya need a chat then you know where I am!!

| Aw hun, I know exactly how your feeling, nearly 3 weeks ago I had a big bleed, it was dark red with small clots, thankfully it only lasted about 2 mins. I have had spotting on and off since the very beginning and very bad cramps as well. I really hope everything is OK for you, let us know how you got on xxx |

| Ooo hope you have had some reassurance from your drs appointment today - just to let you know I had bleeding all the way on and off with this preg upto 20 weeks and had 2 extra scans and they couldnt find any reason why I was bleeding. One mw explained to me that it could be my uterus as she basically said its like a balloon and after you have had a baby it shrinks back down and blood etc can gather in the 'creases' and obv when you become preg again and it starts to stretch out again and these creases open then the blood can be from this, and more likely so as I have not had long between the 2 pregs, I had both bright red and brown blood, I had a few cramps but think in the end that was just stretching and growing pains. Really hope everything is ok for you hun, thinking of you and we all here for you xx |

Steph - what a really good way of your MW explaning bleeding etc - it makes a lot of sense xx I know she was the only person who seemed to care everyone else was like well we cant find a reason so just get on with it , and I told her this and she was 1st person to take the time to put my mind at rest (this was at a 20 week scan and not my normal mw) x |

| Thanks so much everyone. After talking to my dr, who was lovely and said it's a common problem is pregnancy but she'd get me an appointment at the EPAC, i was feeling a lot more positive and the bleeding stopped. But just gone to the loo and it's started again and more red now. My EPAC appointment isn't till next week cause they don't see you before 6wks (altho i know thats crap cause i saw them at 5wks with Imogen but whatever). Dr said to go straight to A+E if it gets any worse though. Matt wants to take me now but i said leave it a while as i don't want to cause a big fuss if it's just a little bit of blood. Going to take it easy today and see what happens. Thanks again for all the nice comments.xx |
