Arrh hun hope you have a fab time sounds like you will. Unfortunatly i am working lates friday and sat if i wasnt would have been going to brean for a few days with family lol Crying or Very sad. But hay ho lol.

You sound like you have a great family that treats you anyway. Hopefully this break will clear both of your heads so you both come back and start a fresh and get motivated.

You could always go back to college, you will get it for free and study for a year to give you some qualifications or the skills and knowledge of a job u would like to do.

Whilst Adam is working you could do it 2 days a week.

Dont get mad Lou but its not YOU they think is a bum. Its Adam. SAHMs are very respected on this forum bird! I go to work for a friggin rest

Anyway lets not turn this thread into a rehash, i agree with char on the college. Night school or something would be perfect

Thumbs Up Totally agree. I'm a SAHM by choice. I gave up my job to go back to college and do volunteering work which I LOVE !!! Luckily Karl earns a decent wage and we can just about manage. I will be going back to work when I've finished my Diploma and hopefully to a better paid job

i don't have a clue what i want to do, i love photography, but nearest college for that is newcastle, so too much bus fayre.
the nearest college for me, is consett...which is still too much bus fayre.
i would love to be a photographer, but for the time being thats not gonna happen...maybe when benji goes to nursery Smile

adam's a total bum, and would love if he could stay off work forever, but he can't...so he WILL get a job. xx

^ you will get travel back from the college if you live too far away, you will also get money towards childcare/lots of colleges have nurseries so you can drop off/pick up before and after classes.

nevermind what adam does or doesn't want to do, you sort yourself and benji out and i can guarantee he will just follow. if marriage was about waiting for the other person we wouldn't get anywhere!!!

Mari is right. You will be able to get help towards the cost of your course and travel. You must think positive otherwise nothing will ever change. Depression tends to make everything look cloudy and grey. Nothing is going to end up in your lap, you've got to make things happen for yourself Smile

how do you know its crap? take benji out for the day on the buses and visit some colleges or walk to them, or even better arrange to meet a careers advisor at your favourite, it will be fine to take benji along!
