A friend has just made me realise that its 6 weeks tomorrow until Jamie's first birthday! How did that happen and where did my baby go?

Its strange because I actually don't even like babies and find him more fun as he gets older. Was just a bit of a shock

What are your plans for his first birthday?

We're probably going to go to the zoo as we have season tickets so it will cost us nothing (how tight do we sound) and he loves animals. I guess we're going to have to say the family can come over in the evening (don't mind mine but don't really want the in laws there). Will depend on the weather though because the zoo is about an hour away and this time last year we were basically snowed in

its crazy isn't it, elijah is infinitely more fun than he was a year ago - and they seem to just get funnier (he is throwing a little ball around shouting keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeck....no elijah that is throw not kick ) though i did get very sad around his first birthday and quite reminiscent.....i also had the joy of inlaws at birthday time, i promised myself it was a one off as it was his first, that made it easier
