god, i am meant to be (and usually i am) out and getting shopping/taking eli to the park to expend some energy etc etc but we aren't even dressed.....do you ever have days when you just cannot quite get yourself together??? elijah is now sat on top of my printer and is a grizzlechops cos he is teething so i know he would be better out......but i just can't even be bothered finding clothes.

maybe i will just put yesterdays clothes on, that would be a start

Yep - that's most days for me hun :/ although today I have an excuse as I have to wait in for the virgin man so I can sit here in my onesie feeling less guilty

I think I had better go get dressed - the sight of me in a huge fluffly pink babygrow with cupcakes on would give the poor guy nightmares for weeks

danielle and i curled up in ym bed this morning , it was so snug and warm i contemplated staying there for ages and blowing off playgroup but i knew she would get bored and want up and she loves school , once got up dressed i got some motivation , unfortunately going to collect her from school it bucketed down rain so now we are lounging about watching finding nemo , going to pop a pan of soup on soon i think and maybe get wash on , if i can get bothered

put on some funky tunes and start dancing ? might get some va va vooooomm

Im actually fairly motivated for the first time in weeks. Ive cleaned kitchen and loaded dishwasher kids are dressed and Ive cooked lunch. Soon as Awens finished her banana its time for the park i think

I'm still not dressed Thomas and Stephen both are though! I had promised Stephen we would go to soft play today but we've postponed till tomorrow. I'll have to get myself together by the time he gets up from his nap and go for a walk or something!

have you made it out yet mari? We only did twenty mins at park in the end as Awen wanted milk. I am about to be properly hedonistic though and do something i never do. Just put kids down for nap so i am leaving my jobs and going to bed

we did get out, spend an hour and a half in the park examining every leaf and bit of mud, then 'fed' the ducks (ran away from the swans, elijah ate the ducks bread), now i have just changed eli in time for a nap but he has done a poo *sigh*

i think i might have a snooze with him.....or try and finish stupid super mario world

Thing is its not really that hard. I just get irrational about it then work myself up and stress out. Its silly.

I used to love the days before Jamie when I could just not get dressed and lounge around in my pjs in bed and read!

im the same with only one shell, all i have to do is forget one thing (after it has taken an hour of poos/spilled water/megabloks explosion/hurricane elijah to get TO the door) and for elijah to decide to by hysterical about the pram and i think....really whats the f*cking point

I always feel like this when im on maternity leave.

I can quite happily just sit there all day and watch the day fly past.

I have increased Aimee's pre school mornings to 4 mornings a year from January, so when I start maternity leave again I have to force myself out of the house pretty much every day (we are always out at weekends anyway, so I will only get 1 day max to slob). x
