| Our seller pulled out yesterday and we are approx 4 weeks away from completing our sale. There are no houses in our price range in the area we want.....apart from 1 which is being sold by the estate agents from hell. We know they would accept our offer as they did in the past. Would you go for it and grit your teeth or would you run in the opposite direction and hope/pray/beg that something else came up within the next couple of months???? |

| If it was being sold by another nice estate agents would you say that was the right house for you? I wouldn't want to settle for a house if it wasn't right for you just because it was all that was available. Hopefully if you did go for it then you would only have to have minimal contact with the estate agents as most of it would go through solicitors xx |

| Truth? If I liked the house and wanted it, then I would knock on the door of the owner of the house and tell them that their agents are arseholes but I want to buy their house... let them decide whether they want to sack their agents and do it a different way x |

| I wouldn't leave your buyer in the lurch as you may not get another. We lost our buyer on exchange day a couple of years ago and haven't managed to get to that stage again since. However, I wouldn't just buy a house for the sake of it, especially if the agents are awful. We had such a bad experience buying this flat that we wouldn't consider using the agents again. So I guess it depends if you really like the house
Could you look at renting for 6 months while you were waiting to see what came up? |

It's an empty house hun, it's the children of the person that used to live there that are selling it so I have no way of contacting them. |

| Most estate agents are arses so what's the problem. You don't choose your house because you like the estate agent! If you want the house go for it! |

| I wouldn't let the agents put you off IF that's the house tht you want but if you are going to buy it because it's the only one in your price range I personally wouldn't bother... I'd look into renting somewhere until sometthing else crops up. |

| I would go for it if you are 100% sure you want the house.
Just give the agents as much crap as they give you and dont let them mess you about. x |
