loads of our stuff is in storage and fairly inaccessible, i got mr.mari to get the box marked 'christmas' out the other day and was just having a look - mr.mari's glitter stags are not in there

neither is a good deal of our other decorations.....

ugh.

do i a) buy replacements or b) forget about it or c) try and find them (least enticing option)

AND have i a) thrown them out last year instead of bothering to pack them or b) thrown them into a box that had a bit of left over room (we packed at the beginning of jan) to be found at some point in the future when we move again...

I think it's actually option m) Mr Mari was secretly terrified of his glitter stags and seized the opportunity to chuck them into a bonfire on Nov 5th, hoping you'd just think they got lost in the confusion of the move.

The correct action is therefore p) fill every inch of your house with replacement glitter stags, tiny ones in his socks, giant ones in the cupboards etc and watch him scream/cry/faint with shock as he comes home and finds them all.

hahahaha they were horrifying but that was the beauty of them i actually think they are packed somewhere cos we kept them up til the last minute ages after we took everything else down so they could sit in their sparkly glory alone

I'd say its option z .. mysteriously disappeared..it happens to a number of my decorations every single year .. I don't understand where they go and its very annoying that every year I have to buy more otherwise the tree is bare!
