I chose mine 12th August because it was the date/month grandad died. I asked my nan first for obvious reasons.

We all knew he would want it to be a happy day so we done it for him to turn a sad day into a happy day

We chose 7th June as it was the weekend that the Euro's started and we didnt want to do it later as our guests would want to watch the games as (if possible) England got further on.

It is also my OH's birthday on the 14th June so we thought it would be nice to be on honeymoon for his birthday x

It was the only saturday available at short notice I quite like the date though, its 04/09/04 so nice and easy to remember

If i EVER get married id like to do it on the 2nd May the same date my mum and dad got married

we chose ours as its the day befor OHs bday and he wants an easy date to remember

We originally wanted 1st August as it just appealed to me really. But the church was booked so we ended up with a week later 8th August 2009.Also, one of my friends got married on 15th and another on 21st so it was an action packed month for us! X

We picked the 11th August 2007 as this was the weekend before the start of the premiere league season (call us sado's but OH and I are very big footie fans)...and guess what they went and bought the start of the season forward to the weekend of the wedding but there was no way I was changing the date. Also I had originally picked two weekends after the 11th but that was the anniversary of my paps death and my Dad asked if we would change it so he could remember our day as a happy day and not the date his Dad died xx

we chose ours 19th July as it was the end of the first week of the summer holidays, as my husband is a teacher we wanted to have his frist week of together to get things organised then have the rest of his holiday off as honeymoon!

We went for 30th June 06 as it was the date we had been together for 5 years - plus it was cheaper for us to get married on the fri as well so all tied in quite good and nice and easy for hubby not having to rem 2 dates as well then

We picked 24th May 2008 because it had to fit in with the football season! That's because I'm a huge football fan though not my husband, it had to be after the premier league season had finished but before the European Championships began, my dad even rang the FA to check there wouldn't be any games that day Turns out though it was the same day as the Eurovision song contest, (which I didn't think would matter) but during the reception most of my family went missing and I found them all in a lounge watching it I was not impressed!

We went for 9th September as we fancied a September wedding and the 9th happened to be a Saturday xx

We decided on the 22nd May as it was 4 years to the day that we started going out. x

LMAO..the only reason we chose the last Friday in August was because all other decent wedding venues were booked 2 years in advance...the bonus about getting married on a Friday was it was cheaper.

We chose 21 December as it was the date we started going out together sevn years previously.

we got married on June 3rd, i think we decided then because we wanted to go on holiday in June , then just checked what dates were available.

i want NYE as A. it's close...means i don't have to wait long! lol and B. it's like a new start...starting the first day of the year whilst starting our 'married life' together

We chose 1 June as it has to at the end of the footy season, had to be school hols, august would be too hot and the registrar only worked afternoons on a Monday so didn't have much choice.X

i chose the 9th of june as its my dear nan and grandads wedding anniversary mine nan had already left this worl and i asked my grandads permission and he gaveme away .. now there both gone but i live int here house with such warm memorys xx

We got married on 17 May...the date was just kinda 'plucked' out of the air'!! LOL
