Just seen on FB that a friend of a friend works in subway and her job title is sandwich artist

Lol. I hate the stupid names they give in some shops. It tends to be the American ones as well. In the Disney store we were called cast members, I always thought that was ridiculous

Yeh yeh you lot make fun, my job title is sandwich technician!!
I just had a promotion at work, more money and i can now train people.
What it means i have to know exactly what goes on each and every sandwich Greggs make (theres loads) know exactly which order the ingredients go in, be able to make 54 sandwiches per hour (almost 1 per minute) and be able to bag each one and label it correctly so everyone looks exactly the same.

So yeh it might only be sandwich making but theres a reason theres a specific name for it! Its not as easy as it looks.
And this is the reason i didnt tell anyone about my promotion

I like the sandwich artist title! Frequent Subway often and those ladies in their sure make a damn good sub...way better than I could ever slap one together. Job titles when they sound meaningless, they often make the employee's feel meaningless or unimportant. Every job going has it's importance. xxx

Cast members is a big Disney thing everyone is a cast member at the theme parks I just love all the cheesiness that comes with disney
