PostSubject: What value products do you recommend?   What value products do you recommend? EmptyFri Sep 17, 2010 10:32 pm

I need to cut my shopping bill. Have decided to try & switch to value brands when possible. (I shop in Tesco) So far Iv found...

Value white chocolate is lush, only 40p for a big bar.
Value petis filous I cant even taste the difference.
Value garlic bread again 40p, about 1/3 of the price and nice enough.
I use tesco bleach, dont know why anyone buys domestos etc.
Hand soaps/shower gels again tesco is fine.

Anyone else recommend anything worth switching?

Things I wouldnt switch are diet coke, I know its 18p vs £1.50 but it tastes rank to me.
Heinz baked beans & heinz tomato sauce are another must for me.
